INTERNATIONAL PARTNER SCHOOL LOGO CONTEST

KA229 EUSE SCIENCE TO STEAM UP YOUR SCHOOL

OCTOBER 2018

Coordinator of the logo contest: Denmark

conditions / framework of the logo contest:
the logo should contain:
- 6 countries (in whichever way one likes)
- title of the project: EUse ERASMUS+
- the logo can be made from different materials, 2D, 3D, by hand, using computers and so on.
- the logo should be printable / usable for buttons, stickers, T-shirts, posters. (NL will provide these in the course of the project)
- the winner receives 25 Euro and his/her own personal T-shirt with the logo on it

determining the winning logo:
- pupils can like logo on instagram
- two votes per school, decision will be made on November 7th.

set up of the competition locally:
details are decided per school, as long as 3 logo’s are the end result.
All pupils from all the schools can participate per school.

Steps to be followed:

1. Each school chooses the 3 best results and sends them to Denmark, Hendra, the deadline is November 1st. Denmark can put the 6 x 3 results on Instagram. Denmark will anonimize the logo’s so that it is not clear from which country the logo is. In this way, pupils will focus on the best logo, rather than the logo of their own school. The pupils will be able to vote for the best design on instagram. The final score of likes will be taken into account during the Skype session with the coordinators, in which the best logo is chosen.

2. Denmark will make an video to present all these results. The video can also be put on instagram beforehand. the video should also be put on eTwinning, and the EUse Science new website, and the websites of the different partner schools.

3. During the Skype meeting of the 7th of November 20218, we vote. Only one of the two votes that each country has can be used for the logo from your own school. We should focus on quality of the design rather than national pride :-)

The result (the winning logo) is published on the partner school websites, instagram, eTwinning, the EU science website.
